“You ain’t black if you don’t back me over Trump.” I cringed when Joe Biden, the Democratic Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, made this startling, demeaning statement about black Americans who dare think for themselves. His ugly, offensive remarks that I and other blacks who support President Trump are no longer black is a racist statement, period. It should be categorically rejected by all Americans.
I am black, and I assure you that I will not be voting for Joe Biden this fall. Biden represents the race-baiting politicians of the past who seek to frighten and bully racial and ethnic minorities using symbolism, tokenism, and racial tropes. Take away the fear tactics, and there might be a mass exodus of blacks from the Democratic Party. Biden’s racist remarks are sickening, and it’s an old story with Democrats. We’ve come to expect the same tired mantra that race-baiting Democrats use every year – that blacks “belong” to them.
Not only am I voting for Donald J. Trump, I am also doing everything in my power to get him reelected as the last hope for American society. Otherwise, Democrats will use the coronavirus to turn off the lights to our nation and strip us of our civil rights and liberties that remain. It is disgusting to watch Democrats such as Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer put progressive politics above the good of our nation, and that includes above the good of American minorities as well. Believe it.
Let the record reflect that I was born and raised in rural southern poverty. By the grace of God, doors opened that allowed me to become a tenured university professor at two top-tier universities: Princeton and Vanderbilt. I believe in America and the American Dream. The values and principles that guide you to success will never be told or shared if blacks wait on liberal Democrats to tell them the truth about what it takes to make it in America.
Playing the race card is as natural as breathing for Joe Biden. During the 2020 presidential campaign, Biden has told reporters, “White folks are the reason we have institutionalized racism. There has always been racism in America. White supremacists have always existed, they still exist.” In saying this, Biden, like a parrot, was simply repeating the familiar refrain of the progressive left that has taken over the Democratic Party. According to them, racism is institutional and is the root of white supremacy. This man, Biden, can not think for himself, and every time he opens his mouth he digs his hole a little bit deeper.
Before the election of Donald Trump, the term “white supremacist” referred to people who felt that having white skin made them superior to other racial and ethnic groups. “White nationalism” was the belief that whites should constitute a dominant and separate group able to determine its own future. After Trump’s unexpected election, the labels changed meaning. The terms “white supremacist” and “white nationalist” are now applied to any white person who voted for Donald Trump or who refused to embrace the mantra that all whites are oppressors, and that racial minorities — regardless their social and economic attainments – are victims.
If America is ever to thrive again, we must reject the racism of the progressive left and treat racial and ethnic minorities as equals. That means sharing with minorities the secrets for success and educating them about the Democratic Party’s genocidal agenda toward minority communities. Also, the current COVID-19 pandemic has produced yet another type of racial oppression directed at minority communities through the aggressive use of contact tracers and police power, all done in the name of safety.

In 2016 I couldn’t support either candidate , so wrote in Ben Carson’s name. I hoped that Trump would surprise me , but no he took up his tweeting and show the world what an idiot he could be. Carol Swain is an intelligent person who seem to be able to see through all the B.S. of politics. I believe Ben Carson has that intelligence too. I wish we had some other people , no matter their race , would come forward to straighten this mess the U.S.A. Is in. I do believe that the illegal immigrant situation is one of the bigger problems, along with bad politicians .
Biden has been in politics for 44 years and has never accomplished one thing to help any black person ever. We have an average of 40 people shot every weekend in Chicago and Biden has never been concerned about any of those people, and a lot of them are little kids. Did you ever see Biden at a 3 year old black child’s funeral in Chicago? No, but all of a sudden he pretends he so concerned about George Floyd that was murdered by 4 cops. Yeah Biden is a regular Mother Theresa alright. Not one human on this planet can name one thing that Biden has accomplished in 44 years except molesting little girls and I saw in first hand in a meet and greet I was in with him. That was disgusting and he is lucky I didn’t knock him out. And Carol Swain is one of the smartest people I know of. I love her video, The inconvenient truth about the Democrat Party on Prager U.
This is one of the few times that I would have to agree with Carol M. Swain, mainly for my own reasons. Biden has really been a closet Tea Party Republican for most of his political life. This was the same Biden who advocated so-called welfare reform, building more prisons, enacting harsher penalties that unfairly targeted people because of their race, gender, class, financial situation, etc. Now, Biden is trying to reinvent himself to lure leftists away from Bernie Sanders and others. His dumb remark of accusing blacks of not being blacks if they don’t vote for him could seriously backfire on him.
That’s pure BS. Truth does not matter to this collective group of idiots that call themselves the Republican Party. Let’s see I can think of no less than thirty incidents over the past couple of years where Trump has race baited. Does anyone remember “Africa as a group of shit-hole countries” or “what do YOU PEOPLE have to lose, you may as well vote for me”, or referring to a certain New York congresswoman “you need to cleanup the ghetto that you live in”. And don’t get me started on the race baiting of the 2016 election cycle. So if you black republicans want to talk race baiting Trump has plenty ammunition. Here’s a tip for you, when you’re living in a glass house, don’t throw stones.
The problem is many of us agreed with the sentiments the President awkwardly tried to convey in your examples. He spoke uncomfortable truths that wounded the politically correct crowd but resonated with the masses.
All three of those statements are true!
Amen!
